Wayang orang / Dance drama

You can see that the performance of some dancers are dressed in traditional Javanese costume drama in the theater world every Wednesday from 8.15 pm to midnight. Gamelan, traditional Indonesian musical instrument, the sound of music and dance performed for this drama.The stories are usually derived from Mahabrata and Hindu Epics Ramayana.

Ketoprak
A modernized version of wayang Orang, ketoprak has gained in popularity these days for its versatility. It is also accompanied by gamelan music, but with simpler costumes and dialogue. You can see when ketoprak Gedung Kesenian theater every Wednesday and Thursday evening starting at 8 pm.

Traditional Indonesian
Staged in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah every Sunday from 9 am - 2 pm and the Ancol art market every Saturday evening or Sunday morning, traditional dances from different regions of Indonesia are linked to mesmerize the audience.
